There’s just something about a spring wedding in Michigan that feels so fresh and full of life, and August and Savannah’s day at Crystal Gardens in Howell was exactly that. Even with the cold temps this past weekend, you would never know it from the smiles, the energy, and how completely present these two were all day long.
From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be a good one. And then I saw Savannah’s dress… and my jaw actually dropped. The train, the embroidery, every single detail was just stunning. It was one of those dresses you don’t stop thinking about. Paired with the soft blues from the bridesmaids dresses (also with the prettiest embroidery) and the blue and white florals, the whole day had this elegant, garden party spring feel that photographed so beautifully.
August showed up looking sharp in his classic black tux, and together, these two just made everything look effortless. I’m not even kidding when I say I don’t think they could take a bad photo if they tried. Every moment, every little interaction, it all just worked.
Their ceremony and reception at Crystal Gardens in Howell, Michigan flowed so smoothly, and the entire day felt relaxed, easy, and genuinely fun to be a part of. Even with Howell High School prom happening at the same time, nothing phased them. They were so focused on each other and soaking in every second of their wedding day.
One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know my couples leading up to the wedding, and working with August and Savannah over the last 6 months has been so much fun. Seeing their vision come to life exactly the way they imagined it (honestly, even better) was so special. They are the kind of couple that make my job easy in the best way.
Between the amazing staff at Crystal Gardens, their incredible group of family and friends, and a vendor team that kept everything running seamlessly, this day came together so beautifully and felt so perfectly them.
