Liz and Steve were married at the gorgeous and unique “Garden Theater” in Midtown Detroit. The day was SO hot, but thankfully the interior of the venue was so gorgeous that we didn’t need to venture outside too long for portraits.
Before the ceremony Liz and Steve decided to do a “first look.” I loved their first look because it was so fun and different- who wouldn’t want the gorgeous detroit skyline in the background of your pictures?!
Their ceremony was short, sweet, and emotional. I never cry during a ceremony, but theirs was so beautiful I couldn’t help but shed some tears along with their guests.
The reception was truly amazing. Liz worked closely with her florist and planner to design a room that was unique and beautiful. They used farmhouse style tables and chairs, and filled the tables with candles and fresh flowers and greenery. Their friends feasted on amazing food (wouldn’t expect less from a bride who is a professional chef), drinks, and an assortment of pies. Then they danced the evening away to a live band who kept the dance floor packed.
