There’s something about a Detroit wedding that makes me so happy. I don’t know if it’s the architecture or the bustling city vibe going on but I know when I am down in Detroit the wedding day is going to be amazing.
Madeline and Hollister started the day off getting ready at The Marriott Detroit in the gorgeous Renaissance Center building. I just love how spacious these suites are and how they allow so much natural light for all the getting ready photos. After their private first look, we left to explore Detroit on an exceptionally busy day. We found some great spots for portraits amid the busy crowds and I loved that Madeline and Hollister wanted to stop at their old apartment building where they have taken photos after memorable moments in their life.
The rooftop ceremony and reception were held at the Madison Building in Detroit. This is one of my new favorite Detroit wedding venues. The Madison Building is an architectural gem, combining the charm of the past with modern, industrial elements. Its exposed brick walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sleek metal accents provided a unique and visually striking setting for any wedding. This urban-chic venue, coupled with the couple’s impeccable taste and attention to detail, resulted in a breathtaking wedding that left everyone in awe. I also love that it is in the heart of downtown and the views from the rooftop are unmatched (Hello, Comerica Park)! If you are looking for a unique venue option I would highly recommend it.
