Last week I had the pleasure of celebrating Bennett’s first birthday by capturing some pictures of him and his family. When Dana first messaged me she said she was dreaming about a barn/rustic look and Cobblestone Farms in Ann Arbor was the perfect location. We were pretty nervous that day because it had been raining off and on, but the sky cleared up and it was the perfect evening.
During out shoot we were photobombed by a couple different farm animals. A goat came to welcome us when we arrived and a rooster was just smitten with Bennett. I, of course, was thrilled that there were roosters in their family photos because HOW COOL IS THAT, but we needed to get some without the rooster child. We ended the session with cake. I wish I could end every session with cake. Dana made Bennett’s smash cake and it was the first time he had ever tried it. I think he really liked it because he started dancing while he was eating.
