I love that my job allows me to travel, especially to gorgeous cities like Bay Harbor, Michigan. Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Nick and Nicole’s Lake Michigan wedding and it was an absolute dream. The day and morning leading up to the wedding we weren’t sure if we were going to have storms roll in, but luckily the rain held off and we were able to have a beautiful beach side wedding.
Nick and Nicole decided to do a first look before their ceremony and it was so emotional. I love that they got those quiet moments together and that Nick even teared up when he saw Nicole. It was such a beautiful moment. During the ceremony the two shared handwritten vows in front of their closest family and friends and spent the rest of the evening dancing outside and roasting marshmallows in the bonfire.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Bay Harbor Inn and their impeccable hospitality. The whole day was stunning and the food was amazing. If you’re looking for a unique and gorgeous wedding venue definitely check this place out!
