I’ve lived in Howell for years and this was my first time shooting a wedding at Crystal Gardens. I cannot get over how gorgeous this venue was and how accommodating and meticulous the staff and grounds were. Cheyenne and Julie were married on a perfect summer day. We started the afternoon off at a suite in Brighton where myself and Michelle photographed the ladies and the men. The girls helped me hang up the dresses and enjoyed some mimosa’s, while sneaking a peek at the groom outside. It was so lovely watching Julie get so excited to catch a glimpse of Cheyenne and tell me how excited (and not nervous) she was to marry the man of her dreams.
The ceremony took place in a stunning covered chapel on the grounds of Crystal Gardens. The sunset coming through the curtains made for such a dreamy backdrop, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in attendance when Cheyenne shed a tear as Julie walked down the aisle.
The party kicked off following an amazing dinner, cupcakes, and my favorite DONUTS!
Out of all of the weddings I have photographed I think this one was one of the most fun. Julie had a long time friend DJ their wedding and he did such a wonderful job at keeping the dance floor packed the entire night. This group knew how to party!
